I tried  to browse to Etrade.com today, but was redirected to https://wireless.etrade.com/etrade.  This was disconcerting, especially since this is my banking account.  Although the wireless address appears to be Etrade, this was not normal.

I found this article, that actually explains the issue.  It's a problem with the coding of these sites.  In particular,

•Visit www.etrade.com and get redirected to wireless.etrade.com
•Visit www.intel.com and get redirected to m.intel.com (Intel has fixed their site 07/12/10)
•Visit www.sony.com and get redirected to m.sony.com

Enjoy,

Enter the Evoluce...
Evoluce 47-inch HD multitouch display provides all of the above and an interesting above screen gesture control.  You do not need to touch the screen to interact.  You can hover over it by a few inches.  No price info on this screen yet, but it won't be cheap.

Have a look.

Its impressive.

I am doing research into multi-touch surfaces.  There are many different technologies that exist and each one has its pro's and cons.

At the moment, I am looking for technologies that provide us witih the following:
-Durable surface for touch use
-Precision and responsive touch
-LCD Monitor or similar formats
-High contrast ratios
-High Resolutions, preferable 1080px1920 (HD)
-Fingers, gloved hands and a stylis touch
-Unlimited number of fingers (many only support 1 point, some support 2 points or more).  Currently 3 points is the minimum to access all current gesters for one person.
-Windows 7 Touch Pak support (requires at least two touch points)
